Info:

- The purple and white footballer was a fearless striker with a groundbreaking style. He stood out for his dynamic runs and dangerous shots. He fought tirelessly and never lost the ball. In the second half of his career, he perfected his fieldwork and improved his game.

- Štefan Príboj, popularly known as Pišta-báči, was one of the best center forwards of his era, a playmaker, a feared goalscorer, and a great penalty taker.

- He made his Hungarian league debut on May 24, 1914, against Budapesti AK, scoring his first league goal from a penalty in the match. He scored his first hat-trick on the opening day of the 1916/17 season against Vasas Budapest (3-1), and by the 1917/18 season, he was UTE's top scorer with 18 goals, fourth in the league, having scored in eight consecutive matches. In the 1921/22 season, he was the league's third-highest scorer with 18 goals. On April 9, 1922, he shone at the home stadium of city rivals Kispest, contributing four goals in an 8-0 defeat. In the 1922/23 season, his 25 goals earned him the top scorer title, and in the match against Zuglói AC, he scored all five of his team's goals (5-0). He played 137 matches in Hungary's top flight and scored 116 goals. With UTE, he twice finished runners-up.

- One name in particular has become a household name: Štefan Príboj. ČsŠK acquired him in the late summer of 1923. Príboj, the son of Slovak parents, had previously worked for the Budapest-based UTE and even played for the Hungarian national team. On the pitch, he was a great director, finisher, playmaker, and game coach who, in addition to scoring decisive goals, acquired and incorporated established players and selected talents into the team.
