Jesús Manuel Corona, also known as "Tecatito", is a Mexican winger and attacking midfielder who has stood out throughout his career for his refined technique, dribbling skills and attacking versatility. Discovered by Monterrey, he attracted attention at a young age for his ability to decide games individually, playing on the wings with speed and quality, which earned him an early transfer to European football.

It was at FC Twente in the Netherlands that Corona took his first steps on European soil, improving his collective game and demonstrating an above-average technical repertoire. At the Dutch club, he played as a right/left winger and attacking midfielder, gaining space due to his mobility, vision of the game and ability to break through defensive lines with ease, in addition to leaving his mark with goals and assists at important moments.

His performances led him to FC Porto, where he enjoyed the peak of his career and established himself as one of the club's most important players for several seasons. At Porto, he played under different coaches and in multiple roles — including as a right-back. Tecatito won the national championship, shone in the Champions League and was voted the best player in the Portuguese Primeira Liga in 2019–20, demonstrating his central role in the team. He had a brief stint at Sevilla, without much prominence, and then returned to Monterrey, the club that revealed him, at the age of 30, heading towards the final chapters of his career, where he is currently.

For the Mexican national team, Corona has been a constant participant in qualifiers, Gold Cups and World Cups, being a useful player due to his individual talent, even without the same prominence he had at club level. His playing style is marked by short dribbling, agility, improvisation and creative vision, as well as great tactical dedication — qualities that have transformed him into one of the most technical Mexican players of his generation.
