What about Lee McCulloch in the reserves. He has been in the team since they were placed in 4th Division and was one of the fews that don't left the team.

Guess his formation is still on development, McCoist apparently didn't play as SS and Morton played as Left Winger, not Right-sided Midfielder + also Brian didn't play on the left.
Gough is named in the line up, but in the image is Butcher who's there, so which one is the chosen?

Derek Johnstone was a striker, I’d take Hateley out of the first team, move Johnstone to strikers and add Gascoigne to the first team, and I’d also put McCloy over Chris Woods too. Kris Boyd and Lee McCulloch can both be in reserves. The formation I would use: Manager can be Bill Struth.

I think James Tavernier has secured his place amongst club's modern heroes. Captain to the first championship after a decade. It would be a great football journey shall he lead the club to this season's Europa League trophy.

I will be updating this at some point. McGregor has also surpassed Woods and will be in the first team.

Not a Rangers expert, but I am a little surprised to not see Gordon Durie on the bench. 179 caps, 52 goals, played for Rangers from 1993 to 2000, won 6 championships, probably Scotland's best player at the '98 WC.
Another one that might be worth consideration is Arthur Numan. Joined right after being a regular starter for a strong Netherlands squad at the 98 WC (and less regular at the 2000 EURO and 2002 WC). Stayed at Rangers from 1998–2003, 147 caps. Not sure how stacked the current bench is on left backs, but he was a reasonably big name on that position.
Apologies if this is a hot take. Maybe a true Rangers fan will laugh at these ideas.

The thing with Celtic and Rangers is that the competition for places is super high, guys like Durie and Numan have to compete with players that have 500+ games and 5+ titles just for a place in the reserves.
Numan is certainly considered one of the best full backs in Rangers history by fans but in the end he only really spent 2 full seasons as a regular starter. He struggled with injuries in the other seasons.
Durie was also not always a regular starter and more of a squad player a lot of the time. He had 2 strong seasons but wasn't so important in the others. There's a few players I'd add before him in the reserves, like Colin Stein for example.
