INFO:Fattori was a right wing-half. He had his best time at Inter, where he made 178 appearances from 1947 to 1954 and scored 7 goals. A regular starter in his first three seasons, he played less in the early 1950s but won back-to-back Serie A championships. He played also for Vicenza, Como, Sampdoria and Brescia, where he retired in 1959. He was called up for Italy 4 times in 1949.
Fattori was a midfielder with the task to close the space to his opponent and cut him off. However, he didn't only care about defending but he also set up the offense from the back. He occasionally pushed forward, exchanging the ball with a teammate and more rarely shooting on goal. He didn't use technical or dribbling skills. However, as he recalled in an interview, he once dribbled Ferenc Puskás in a match between Italy and Hungary. Fattori received the ball and when he had Puskás in front of him, he did something he never did, moving the ball to the side and making a turn.
