The best Sparta player after Iron Sparta era, Josef Ludl was a Czechoslovakian footballer who played as forward and midfielder.
Player with great leadership, incredible technique, very quick movement, great stamina and also fantastic fighting spirit, many people often compared him with Leonidas because same style of playing. He began his career at 1934 with Viktoria Zizkov until 1939, and later played with Sparta Prague from 1939 and retired because serious injury at 1951. He played 16 times for Czechoslovakian national team and scored 6 goals.
