INFOS:Carlos Alberto Rodríguez is mainly kown as the reserve goalkeeper of Boca Juniors in the late seventies and early eighties, a second choice behind El Loco Gatti. He was nonetheless a very reliable keeper always ready to fill the spot when Gatti was sidelined like it happened in some Libertadores games and most of all in the '81 Metropolitano. Rodríguez was the starter in almost the whole campain (26 games), even when Gatti recovered from his injury. He was as crucial as the other top players (Mouzo, Brindisi, Maradona) that year to achieve the championship. His great reflexes and 1-on-1 abilities earned him the nickname of "la Pantera" among the fans.
He played 108 games for Boca Juniors, winning 3 major titles.
