It depends who judges that suggestion, although that Recoba won a couple of titles in, he is still very dear there, it is one of his last references, although he initially started his career in Danubio, is similar to Maradona in that sense and his relationship with Boca, Maradona was not long, his first era was very short but was brilliant (if many take Diego as the great idol of Boca when true the only by far is Riquelme) and on his return was a bit awfull but unlike Diego, Recoba left all the best on the field in his second stage, he was older but the talent never lost. I agree to have El Chino among the 23 on the list
I remember saw this match too , those goals , in those moments only can be do it by people with that talent.

I'm certainly no big expert on Uruguyan football but shouldn't Carlos Scarone be here? Of course he always stood in the shadow of his younger brother but after his archievements with Nacional (227 games with 152 goals, eight championships with the club) speak for himself, especially when I compare that with players like Dely Valdes or Sanfilippo who archieved way less with the club (Sanfilippo for example spent only one year at the club and didn't even play the full season because of an injury)..
I'm very surprised to not see Foglino in the first team, after all he was captain for 10 years and won 9 league titles. Obviously Nasazzi is Nasazzi but are his 4 years at Nacional after spending the vast majority of his career and his peak at Bella Vista really considered more important in the club's history?
