Enver Marić (born April 25, 1948 in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, then part of FPR Yugoslavia) is a former Bosnian football goalkeeper and now a successful coach.
He started his playing career with FK Velež (1967–76), where he played a record 600 games and the German club Schalke 04 (1976–78)[1] and the Yugoslavia national football team at the 1974 FIFA World Cup. He capped 32 times for Yugoslavia.
In season 1973/74. declared the best goalkeeper of Europe, with Germans Seppo Mayer shared a place in the selection of the world. Three times a team defended the world and Europe. For Mostar team played a record 600 matches as a member of the famous "Velež" trio "BMW" - Bajević, Marić, Vladić. He protected the goal of Yugoslavia national team 32 times. Great career continued, "Flying Mostarac" in German Schalke 04 where he remained for two seasons.
He returned to the game as a goalkeeping coach coach to Velež 1987-90, Fortuna Düsseldorf 1993-1998 and Hertha BSC Berlin 2003-present.
