I write hear so you won't go off topic in Heinze thread:
it's strange to see him faster at 27-31 years than 23-25 years and curling has 12 points differences.

The explanation is I rate speed closer to the Konami standards than the standards used by Charruan, moreover, Ayala was decent in speed but he never ran that much to show an above average TS/ACC. He wasn't worth yellow IMO.
About CUR, when there is an available set in the game, then I usually don't change the value or if I change it I stay closer to the original. It has been said in the past CUR affects the effect on free kicks (which is true) and also has to do with the effects in passing, which I don't believe, so I don't rate CUR for the passing.

I noticed also that when i pass with players with amount of CUR (Ronaldinho, Juninho P. and many others) in open spaces (when i'm trying to relax the game ) the ball get some effect; but, however i guess it's more in-game script rather than high amount of curl for any specific player

Concerning this particular case, the curling value doesn't matter anyway that's why I don't bother to change it much from the original value.

I said that i see many players with set of one season mustly 2005-2006 like ayala or tevez and others.... why only that season that playerd dont have any relevant performance in that season 2005-06 , so i tell that somebody create only copy and paste the PES 6 (5) stats. Maybe is a mistake have only 2005-06 season
