Tihomir Ognjanov was a Serbian footballer who played as a winger and centre forward. Excellent right winger, good technician and scorer, penetrative with good crosses. He started career in Spartak Subotica, and very soon, due to military service, he moved to Partizan Belgrade, where he played 9 games and scored 7 goals. He moved back to Spartak for two years, nd after that, joined Crvena Zvezda. In ZVezda, he played 181 games and scored 73 goals. He won two league titles (1951. and 1953.) and two cups (1949. and 1950.).

He played 28 times for national team, scoring 7 goals. He had big problems with injuries at his best. He had very hard injury at World Cup 1950. after which he devotedly continued to play until the end of cup. Another one hit him just before World Cup 1954., which he missed. He was a member of famous 1952. Olympic team which is considered as the greatest of all time, and due to frequent injuries, he is the only one who didn't win minimum of 50 caps for NT.
