INFO:Muraro is a former left winger, capable of playing also as centre forward. He spent the majority of his career at Inter, making 193 appearances and scoring 55 goals in three different spells, from 1973 to 1975, from 1976 to 1981, from 1983 to 1985. He played also for Varese, Udinese, Ascoli, Arezzo and Pistoiese, retiring in 1988.
Compared to Inter legend Jair da Costa, Muraro was gifted with outstanding speed, especially in acceleration, great dribbling skills, fine shooting power and sense of goal. He was firm with the ball on his feet and didn't fear to challenge his opponents. He troubled the side backs as he used to deliver crosses, open the spaces, create number advantage, serve his teammates before running inside the box. In fact, he was very effective during counter-attacks and could deliver accurate low and high balls to the box. He himself was dangerous in the area thanks to opportunism, great timing, a good heading ability and leap that some considered even higher than Boninsegna's. Marking him was very hard and the best way to stop him was by putting him down. He was good also in 1-on-1 situations with the goalkeeper. He was left-footed but very accurate with the right foot too. This allowed him to alternate his feet usage quite often − he was considered better than Jair in this aspect. He was quite helpful in terms of defending, being one of the first forwards to make pressing on the opponents and he often marked the best header during free kicks and corners.
